IAF strikes Lebanon amid ceasefire deal

Moments before the ceasefire: The IDF strikes Beirut

Just before the ceasefire agreement is approved by the cabinet, the Air Force struck Hezbollah targets in Beirut with the aim of preventing the organization from recovering after the agreement.

Just before the ceasefire, the IDF attacked in Beirut as a continuation of the earlier strikes on the terror command centers and control hubs of the Executive Council. Air Force fighter jets, guided by the Intelligence Directorate, recently attacked two command centers used by the Executive Council of the Hezbollah terror organization.

Additionally, several more military headquarters of the organization were attacked. This attack is intended to disrupt the Executive Council's capabilities to direct, support, and assist Hezbollah operatives in terrorist activities and the organization's attempts to restore its military capabilities.

The strikes are part of the IDF's efforts to damage the operational council and the capabilities of the Hezbollah terrorist organization to carry out various terrorist plots against the State of Israel, and as part of the effort to destroy the command centers, production sites, and weapon storage facilities that Hezbollah has established over the years in Dahieh.

All the targets that were attacked were deliberately placed by Hezbollah in the heart of the civilian population, and this is another example of the cynical use of Lebanese civilians as human shields by the terrorist organization Hezbollah.

Before the attack, many measures were taken to reduce the likelihood of harming civilians, including early intelligence gathering, precise observation, and advance warnings for evacuating the population in the area.
