While Israel seems headed towards a deal with Lebanon, The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, affiliated with Hezbollah, published a headline highlighting their 'victory': "The New Merkava Massacre: 4 Million Israelis Under Fire."

The article reviewed the scope of the war yesterday, and claimed that "the resistance recorded the highest number of military operations in a single day against the Israeli enemy."

Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem threatened that if Israel attacked Beirut – Hezbollah would attack Tel Aviv. Hezbollah then launched a wave of heavy barrages throughout the country.

Yesterday (Sunday) more than 250 rockets were fired from Lebanon to the northern part of the country and to Gush Dan and the Sharon region. Channel 14's military commentator Noam Amir estimated earlier this morning that the nature of Hezbollah's activity will continue in the coming days, mainly because of the intensifying contacts for a "political" arrangement in the north.

Hezbollah wants to end the war as a "winner," so the more we talk about an agreement, the more Hezbollah will intensify its launches. Their main goal is to end this war in a tone of "we are still a terrorist organization that threatens the State of Israel with many capabilities."
