Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman couldn't hide his satisfaction over the crushing defeat of Bernie Sanders' attempt to halt weapons sales to Israel. The bill went down in flames with an 81-19 vote, something Fetterman seemed to relish.
"I don't understand why anybody would even bring that to the floor," he quipped, "but hey, if they want to go down 81-19, that's up to them."
Fetterman went on to praise the incoming administration's stance on Israel, calling it "very, very strong" - a position he fully supports. "When the administration changes, my vote and voice won't change either," he pledged, doubling down on his pro-Israel stance.
The Pennsylvania Democrat praised Israel's recent military progress, suggesting operations against Hamas and Hezbollah are paving the way for "longer-term peace" while sending a clear message about Iran's limitations.
