Israeli warplanes struck Hezbollah command centers in Beirut's Dahieh district on Thursday, with multiple explosions reported in the densely populated area. The strikes mark a significant escalation, representing the third operation today and seventh since yesterday morning.

The Israeli military reported taking extensive precautions before the strikes, including gathering precise intelligence, conducting detailed surveillance and issuing advance evacuation warnings.

According to military sources, the operation specifically targeted military command infrastructure.

Israel accused Hezbollah of deliberately positioning its facilities among civilian populations, calling it "cynical use of Lebanese civilians as human shields."

The strikes in Dahieh, a suburb known as a Hezbollah stronghold, signal an intensification of Israel's campaign against the organization's military infrastructure in Lebanon. Local media reported multiple explosions and fireballs visible across the Beirut skyline during the operation.

This marks one of the most significant strikes in the area since tensions escalated along the Israel-Lebanon border. Military officials indicated operations would continue against terrorist infrastructure in the region.
