Among the Gulf states involved in discussions about the Israeli attack was Qatar. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who visited Qatar last week, addressed the Israeli operation in meetings with senior Qatari officials and discussed potential Iranian retaliation against Israel.
Qatar hosts the Al Udeid military base, the largest American military installation in the Middle East, with over 20,000 personnel stationed there.
Recently, Jordan, Qatar, and Kuwait condemned the Israeli attack.
The operation against Iran relied on capabilities developed over two decades. Israeli analysts estimate that it could take Iran up to a year to restore its rocket capabilities following the strike.
During the attack, Israel targeted around 20 sites in Iran over several hours, focusing on military facilities, including missile production sites that posed a threat to Israel and a surface-to-air missile array designed to restrict the Air Force's operational freedom.
