The IDF said that some 30 rockets were fired at Israel from Lebanon a short time ago today (Tuesday). The army also said that most of the rockets were intercepted, though landings were identified.
Magen David Adom said that it treated four people lightly wounded from shrapnel, three men and a 50 year old woman. They have since been sent to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariyah for further treatment.
Deputy IDF Chief of Staff Major General Amir Baram visited the northern front yesterday (Tuesday), talking to the troops, touring captured Hezbollah tunnel sites, and conducting a situational assessment with other senior officers.
While there, Baram said that "for years, the 91st Division and Northern Command have prepared for defense and blocking what Hezbollah called the 'conquest of the Galilee.' It makes us proud and powerful to be fighting now in the area from which they planned to hurt us - destroying their infrastructures and plans."
