IDF reveals: Here's how Hezbollah uses UNIFIL areas to kill soldiers

The IDF said that "The IDF must operate in southern Lebanon to eliminate the threat posed to our civilians and our troops—like any other army would."

The IDF has released an infographic showing UN and UNIFIL sites on X tonight (Sunday) which Hezbollah hides behind in order to fire weapons against Israeli soldiers and against Israeli civilians across the border.

The post said that "On Oct. 6, three rockets were launched 25 meters from a school and 200 meters from a UN building, resulting in the death of two IDF soldiers. The IDF must operate in southern Lebanon to eliminate the threat posed to our civilians and our troops—like any other army would."

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu released a video statement earlier today appealing to the UN to remove UNIFIL forces from Hezbollah areas and combat zones so the IDF can safely fight the terrorist organization.

Netanyahu said that "the IDF has requested this repeatedly and has met with repeated refusal, which has the effect of providing Hezbollah terrorists with human shields. Your refusal to evacuate UNIFIL soldiers has turned them into hostages of Hezbollah. This endangers both them and our soldiers."
