Heart-breaking - 2 reservists killed in Gaza have been named

Released for publication, the names of two reservist fighters who fell in battle in the Gaza Strip; Ori Bornstein from Lod, and Tzvi Matityahu Marantz from the settlement of Bnei Adam.

The names of two reservists who fell in battle in the Gaza Strip have been released for publication: Uri Bornstein, a resident of Lod, and Tzvi Matityahu Marantz, a resident of the settlement of Bnei Adam in Benjamin.

Uri Bornstein, originally from the settlement of Morashah, was educated at the pre-military academy "Ma'oz" in Lod and was a graduate of the hesder yeshiva "Or Veyeshua." In recent years, he was a mechanical engineering student at Ariel. His funeral will take place this evening (Thursday) at 23:00 on Mount Herzl.

Tzvi Matityahu Marantz, 32, left behind his wife Tal and three children: Omer (7), Ofir (4), Na'ama. (1). His funeral will take place tonight at 01:00 on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.

The head of the Binyamin Regional Council, Israel Gantz, eulogized his death: "We are shocked and pained by Tzvi's fall." A father of small children who went out to fight for the revival of the people of Israel and to defeat our enemies. We are wrapping Tal dear and the little children. The people of Israel will fight valiantly until victory.

This morning, it was permitted to publish that RSM (Res.) Roni Genizat, 36 years old from Givat Shmuel, fell in battle in southern Lebanon. Genizat was a fighter in the 5030 Battalion, 'Alon' Brigade. (228). In the incident where he fell, another reservist was also seriously injured and was evacuated to receive medical treatment at the hospital.
