IDF: Most Hezbollah rockets intercepted

Around 85 rockets were fired at the Western Galilee and Haifa a short time ago. Most of them were intercepted by the IDF, though others landed in Israeli territory. One casualty has been reported.

The IDF reported a short time ago today (Tuesday) that Hezbollah fired some 85 rockets against the Western Galilee and the Haifa area.

The IDF said that it intercepted most of the projectiles, though a number of hits were registered in the area.

Magen David Adom reports one casualty from the salvo - a seven year old woman in light to moderate condition, completely conscious, with a shrapnel wound in her hand.

MDA said that they were sweeping other sites but that so far no casualties have been reported.
