Northern Command commander Major General Ori Gordin told local authorities in the north today (Monday) that Hezbollah has been sufficiently weakened for some residents, presumably further from the border, to return home, according to Israel Hayom.

The mayor of Kiryat Shmonah responded by saying that the IDF should focus on winning the war, and that residents would return when the threat of Hezbollah is fully removed.
