Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gabvir responded to US Vice President and the Democratic candidate in the presidential elections, Kamala Harris, after she announced that she would deliver extensive aid to the people of Lebanon.

Ben Gvir responded to a tweet on Twitter in which Harris published her message and wrote to her: "Kamala, the humanitarian act is to make sure that all citizens of northern Israel return home safe and sound, against all enemies." Harris: "The US will transfer 157 million dollars to the people of Lebanon"

As mentioned, this response comes after Harris wrote: "The citizens of Lebanon are facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. I worry about the safety and well-being of citizens who are suffering in Lebanon, and I will continue to work to help meet the needs of all citizens there." The US Vice President continued and stated: "To this end, the US will transfer $157 million in additional aid to the people of Lebanon, which will be allocated to meet essential needs such as food, shelter, water, security and sanitation to help those displaced from their homes in the recent conflict. This additional aid will increase the total American aid to Lebanon in the last year to more than 385 million dollars."
