In a strike conducted two days ago (Saturday), the IDF eliminated Eid Hassan Nashar, the commander of Hezbollah's medium-range rocket unit based on IDF intelligence.

According to the IDF, Eid was a veteran commander with a critical amount of knowledge regarding rockets, and he had previously served as a commander of a ground-to-ground rocket unit and deputy commander of the Bader unit.

His elimination joins with several other IDF strikes which have effectively eliminated all or most Hezbollah senior commanders within the span of a few weeks.

The IDF also struck Hezbollah medium-range missile arsenals, which could penetrate up to 200 km into Israeli territory.
