IDF answers key question: Why haven't Hezbollah rocket salvos been heavier?

Before October 7, the Israeli government and the IDF expected Hezbollah to be capable of launching hundreds of rockets a day. Yet they have not done so despite Nasrallah's elimination. Why?

The IDF believes that most of Hezbollah's capacities for firing missiles and rockets at Israel have been destroyed, according to a report today (Sunday) by Kann reporter Ro'i Sharon.

The IDF believes that a combination of the elimination of Hezbollah's senior and operational leadership and the heavy strikes against missile and launcher sites throughout Lebanon have significantly weakened the terrorist group's ability to retaliate, despite the elimination of senior leaders such as Hassan Nasrallah.
