Reuters: Hezbollah stepping up rocket and missile smuggling

In an effort to recover from the IDF's attacks on its weapons arsenal, Hezbollah has reportedly been stepping up its efforts to replenish its stocks.

Hezbollah is reportedly stepping up its efforts to smuggle in more missiles and rockets following hundreds of Israeli strikes on rocket launchers and storage sites, according to a report by Reuters.

Sources close to Hezbollah and speaking to Reuters said that the terrorist organization was bringing in rockets at a fast pace with the expectation of a drawn out conflict, though they claimed it did not seek all-out war. The sources would not say what sort of missiles they were bringing in or where they were placing them.

IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari gave a press conference yesterday evening (Tuesday), where he provided an update on developments in the fight against both Hezbollah and Hamas.

Hagari described the successful strike against Ibrahim Qubaisi, commander of Hezbollah's rocket array, and another two commanders in the terrorist organization, as well as the pinpoint, targeted strikes against weapons warehouses located throughout southern Lebanon and the Bekaa, which Hezbollah turned into a "combat zone."

He added that the IDF would not provide official assessments of the number of rockets and rocket launchers put out of action so as not to burn intelligence sources, and he warned that Hezbollah still has more capabilities - and the IDF is focusing on the most dangerous of these.
