Nasrallah is being hit very hard to the extent that he has not experienced since the establishment of the organization. However, the official clarifies that Israel is very far from destroying Hezbollah's capability, and the data published yesterday did not come from the IDF.
According to the official to the Mako website: "What Hezbollah has suffered in the last week are blows they have not felt perhaps since the establishment of the organization. The numbers that have been coming out since yesterday (50 percent of the rockets destroyed) are incorrect and as far as I know, it did not come from the IDF."
The senior officer also said: "At this stage we hit many operative units of Hezbollah, in terms of capabilities they still have tens of thousands of rockets and launchers. Currently they still have the ability to produce a rate of fire of a thousand rockets per day and with an effort even beyond that."
In addition, the senior officer explained that the main reason why Nasrallah does not launch thousands of missiles a day is "Nasrallah's decision. As of today, no decision has been made in Lebanon to increase the shooting and the range, from their interest and point of view."
The official stated that "It can be estimated that they understand that despite our attacks, Nasrallah understands that we are on the way and he also understands that this is still a long campaign and they are managing an 'arms economy'. There is also an effect in our actions, but it is limited at this stage."
