IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari gave a press conference this evening (Tuesday), where he provided an update on developments in the fight against both Hezbollah and Hamas.
Hagari described the successful strike against Ibrahim Qubaisi, commander of Hezbollah's rocket array, and another two commanders in the terrorist organization, as well as the pinpoint, targeted strikes against weapons warehouses located throughout southern Lebanon and the Bekaa, which Hezbollah turned into a "combat zone."
Hagari also updated that some 300 rockets were fired at Israel today, wounding 6 civilians and soldiers, most of them lightly. He said that Hezbollah wanted to fire more, but that IDF activity "disrupted their plans."
He added that the IDF would not provide official assessments of the number of rockets and rocket launchers put out of action so as not to burn intelligence sources, and he warned that Hezbollah still has more capabilities - and the IDF is focusing on the most dangerous of these.
Hagari also noted that two maneuvering divisions were still operating in the south against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, and that the hostage question is still a central goal of IDF policy.
