Sirens signaling the infiltration of a hostile aircraft were activated early Monday morning around 4:45 a.m. in the southern Golan Heights. The alerts were triggered in Ramat Magshimim, Metzar, and Hamat Gader.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed that IAF fighter jets intercepted the UAV as it approached Israeli territory from Syria. The sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol, and thankfully, no injuries occurred.

Pro-Iranian militias in Iraq have claimed responsibility for launching UAVs towards the southern Golan Heights, asserting that their target was an "observation base of the Golani Brigade."

On Sunday evening, Iraqi media linked to these militias reported the launch of approximately 15 UAVs aimed at the northern Jordan Valley and southern Golan Heights, which activated the sirens in those areas.

It is believed that Al-Arfad-type drones were used in the operation, directed towards a target in the Jordan Valley.
