MK Investigates: How Many Terrorists Did Israel Release Without Compensation?

MK Oded Forer approached Minister Ben-Gvir to inquire about why Israel is releasing security prisoners and the level of danger posed by the released individuals. Forer argued, "If the government allows ticking time bombs to be released into the streets, it must be held accountable."

MK Oded Forer, from Yisrael Beiteinu, contacted National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir today (Thursday) seeking clarification on why Israel is releasing security prisoners from its prisons without receiving any information about the Israeli hostages. "The Israeli government must be accountable to its citizens."

In light of this, MK Forer submitted a query to the National Security Minister, requesting information about the number of security and administrative prisoners released since October 7, not as part of a hostage release deal. Forer also asked Ben-Gvir: "What is the level of danger posed by these released prisoners?"

MK Forer stated: "We hear daily about more security prisoners being released. It started with the manager of the Shifa Hospital and continued this week with the release of senior Hamas figures in Judea and Samaria. If the Israeli government allows ticking time bombs to be released into the streets, it must be accountable to its citizens and explain who was released and why."
