Meanwhile, the Prime Minister said that the comparison between Netanyahu and Sinwar is "antisemitic" and a "moral disgrace."

International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim Khan informed the pre-trial ICC panel that he requests the urgent issuing of warrants against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar and Mohammad Dief, according to Ynet.

Khan said he was making this request to ensure that the four do not "endanger" the continued investigation and to prevent the crimes which are allegedly ongoing in Gaza, including the ongoing taking of hostages and their abuse.

Prime Minister Netanyahu's office responded by saying that "the comparison the prosecutor makes between the Prime Minister and Defense Minister of Israel, who fight Hamas' murderous terrorism according to the laws of war, and the war criminal Sinwar, who executes Israeli hostages in cold blood, is antisemitism for its own sake and a moral disgrace of the first order."

The statement ended by saying that "Unfortunately, we saw from the start that the proceedings at the Hague are politically biased and are not based on any professional legal foundation."
