Foreign Minister Israel Katz responded to the murder of the six hostages on X today (Monday), saying that "Israel will respond with full force to this heinous crime" and that "Hamas is responsible and will pay the full price."
Katz previously posted a statement on X saying that "The brutal murder of six Israeli hostages by Hamas serves as a stark warning to any country that has recognized or is considering recognizing a Palestinian state after the October 7th massacre. A Palestinian state would be controlled by Hamas, backed by Iran, and would become a radical Islamic dictatorship, threatening Israel and moderate nations in the region."
Katz then tagged the foreign ministers of Ireland and Spain to reverse their recognition of a Palestinian state.
