Chief Inspector Arik Ben Eliyahu, Sergeant Major Hadas Brentz and Sergeant Major Roni Shekuri are the police officers who were murdered earlier today (Sunday) in the shooting attack near the Tarkomiya crossing near Hebron.
The late Arik Ben Eliyahu, 37 years old, was a resident of Kiryat Gat. He left behind a wife and three children, parents and 2 sisters. His funeral will be held today at 16:00 in the military section of the cemetery in Kiryat Gat. The late Hadas Brentz, 53 years old, was a resident of Sde Moshe. She left behind her husband and three children, her grandson, parents and 5 siblings.
Sergeant Major Roni Shakuri, 61 years old, was a resident of Sderot. Roni is the father of the late Sergeant Mor Shkuri, who was killed in the battle at the Sderot station on October 7, left behind a wife, a daughter, a grandson and three brothers. His funeral will be held this evening at 18:15 in the military section of the cemetery in Sderot.
At this point, the terrorist has not yet been caught. Also, an abandoned vehicle with backpacks inside was found at that spot, saboteurs were sent there. It should be noted that a helicopter was flown for the event. The Idna Tarkumiya intersection up to the Tarkumiya crossing were blocked to traffic.
