Three police officers - a woman and two men - were murdered in a terrorist shooting attack near the Tarqumiya Checkpoint in the Hebron area on Sunday morning, according to initial reports.

First responders rushed to the scene to treat the wounded. Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that two victims were critically injured, and one was seriously wounded, all receiving emergency care at the site. Tragically, all three victims were later pronounced dead.

Security forces reported that the terrorists abandoned their vehicle shortly after the attack. The IDF released a statement: "Following the initial report, terrorists arrived at the Idna-Tarqumiya Junction and opened fire on a security vehicle. There are three individuals with varying degrees of injuries at the scene. Security forces have initiated a search for the terrorists."

MDA EMT Tzuriel Edri and MDA paramedic David Dahan, who were the first to arrive, described the scene: "This was a very severe attack. We found a vehicle with bullet marks on a mound beside the road. Three passengers were extracted: two men and a woman. A man and a woman in their 30s were unconscious with gunshot wounds, no pulse, and not breathing. Despite our resuscitation efforts, we had to pronounce the death of the woman after a few minutes, with assistance from IDF medical forces. A man in his 50s, also unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds, received medical treatment and was evacuated in critical condition to Soroka Hospital by MDA helicopter, but resuscitation efforts continued en route. The third man, around 30 years old, was also evacuated to the helicopter pad, where, unfortunately, his death was confirmed."
