The IDF spokesperson said today (Tuesday) that fighter jets of the Israeli Air Force conducted a focused attack, guided by intelligence from Military Intelligence Directorate (AMAN), the Shin Bet, and Southern Command, against terrorists operating in a command and control facility located and concealed within the "Mustafa Hafez" school area in Gaza City.
The command and control facility was used by Hamas operatives for planning and executing terrorist activities against IDF forces and the State of Israel. Before the attack, numerous measures were taken to minimize the risk to civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial reconnaissance, and additional intelligence.
The IDF also stated: "The terrorist organization Hamas systematically violates international law, exploiting civilian institutions and the population as human shields for terrorist activities. The IDF will continue to act with force and determination against terrorist organizations that use schools and civilian institutions as cover."
