Hezbollah launched a barrage of approximately 55 rockets at a northern Israeli kibbutz on Saturday in retaliation for an overnight Israeli airstrike that killed at least 10 people and wounded five others.

The Israel Defense Forces reported that the strike targeted a weapons depot belonging to the terror group.

In a separate incident, two IDF soldiers were wounded on Saturday in an explosive drone attack on a military position near the northern community of Misgav Am. One soldier was listed in serious condition, while the other sustained minor injuries. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that it had launched two drones at Israel.

The rocket barrage targeted Ayelet HaShahar, a kibbutz located approximately 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from the Lebanon border. The kibbutz is not among the towns that have been evacuated. While there were no reported injuries, the rockets ignited fires in at least 10 locations across the Upper Galilee. The Fire and Rescue Service is actively working to extinguish the blazes in fields and open areas near Mishmar HaYarden, Ayelet HaShahar, and Mahanayim.
