"The Paratroopers Brigade is operating in the Gaza Strip to dismantle the Hamas terror organization. This involves targeting its commanders, neutralizing as many operatives as possible, and destroying Hamas infrastructure in Gaza," Halevi stated.

"Following the events of October 7th, we cannot accept Hamas's presence and capabilities in Gaza. We are resolute, and with the help of our new recruits—who are highly moral, strong, and determined—we will persevere," he added.

Halevi also noted the importance of unity among the diverse backgrounds of the recruits: "Everyone comes from different places and homes, which enriches the IDF. The strength of this force lies in seeing a unified mission and working together towards it," he concluded.
