The Foreign Ministers of Britain and France are set to make a snap visit to Israel in an effort to prevent regional war, according to Channel 12 reporter Amit Segal.

This visit would be just the latest in a flurry of diplomatic activity aimed at preventing a general war between Israel and Iran and its proxies, especially Hezbollah.

Iran and Hezbollah had vowed revenge for the assassination of senior Hezbollah leader Fuad Shukr and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, but have thus far not carried out their threat, two weeks after these events.
