Not just civilians: Lebanese judicial and security officials said that the state has moved some 220 prisoners, mostly suspected of murder and theft, away from the Dahieh suburb of Beirut, known as a Hezbollah stronghold, due to increasing fears of a general with Israel, according to Naharnet.
Reports have already come in of large numbers of civilians seeking to move to "safer" areas away from the stronghold expected to become an IDF target in the event of war. Now the state confirms that it, too, seriously fears a war may come.
