Israel-Gaza War, Hostage Deal

Is Sinwar interested in a deal? And if so - on what terms?

An Israeli source told CNN that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has delivered a message to Israel via the mediators that he is interested in a deal to end the war.

An Israeli source familiar with the matter and speaking to CNN said that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar had sent a message via the hostage deal mediators saying that he wanted to negotiate a deal with Israel.

CNN provided no additional information on whether he has become more flexible on his previously strict demands including a complete IDF withdrawal, the release of high profile prisoners including Marwan Barghouti, and a veto on PA or multi-national Arab force ruling the Gaza Strip the day after.
