The IDF struck rocket launch pits near the largest fuel storage area in the Gaza Strip, at a distance of just 230 meters from each other.

The IDF noted that, while the fuel storage area was not harmed by the strike, any harm to it would have endangered the lives of tens of thousands of Gazans living in the area.
