Shock in Dubai: "Iran Sacrificed Haniyeh in Exchange for Its Own Survival"

Sulaiman Al-Talaan, CEO of a communications company in Dubai, addresses the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh on Tehran’s soil and wonders, "What prevents Iran from offering Haniyeh as a scapegoat in exchange for the safety and survival of its leaders?"

Al-Talaan suggests that Iran might swallow the humiliation of Haniyeh's assassination within its territory just as it did with the killing of Qasem Soleimani. He also speculates that Iran may have sacrificed Ismail Haniyeh in exchange for the survival of its own leaders.

According to a report by Shahar Kleiman on the 'Israel Hayom' website, Al-Talaan wrote in a text that has stirred controversy in Dubai: "Ismail Haniyeh is not more valuable or important than Qasem Soleimani. Just as Tehran swallowed the humiliation of Soleimani’s assassination, it will swallow the insult of Haniyeh’s killing on its soil."

Al-Talaan then noted, "Unless there was an Iranian conspiracy behind the assassination." He further questioned, "What prevents Iran from offering Haniyeh as a scapegoat in exchange for the safety and survival of its leaders? Iran only acts ‘bravely’ on Arab lands it has destroyed and conquered."
