On Wednesday morning, a 50-year-old man sustained severe injuries in a brutal terrorist attack at Okfim Junction near Kiryat Arba. Initial investigations reveal that the assailant first fired at an Israeli vehicle, then proceeded to attack the driver, stabbing him multiple times in the hand and head.
Magen David Adom paramedics arrived promptly, providing critical medical treatment before transporting the victim to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
At the hospital, he was admitted to the trauma unit where he is reported to be in moderate but stable condition. After initial assessments and imaging tests, the man was taken into surgery to address his injuries.
