While Israel makes its preparations for a response to the Majdal Shams massacre, Iran's Foreign Ministry warned Israel this morning (Sunday) not to attack Hezbollah in Lebanon - as they state that "the response to this will be unpredictable."

"Any action in Lebanon by the Zionist regime could lead to an expansion of the scope of the war in the region," the Iranian statement said. "We warn Israel against any new adventure against Lebanon, under the pretext of the incident in Majdal Shams. Israel bears the main responsibility for unexpected reactions to any foolish behavior it may commit."

Last night (Saturday), Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy arrived at the soccer field in Majdal Shams where the 12 children were murdered and another 30 injured. Halevy met with the head of the Druze community, the Sheikh Muwaffaq Tarif and representatives of the local council.

In a message to the residents of Majdal Shams and the residents of the North in general, the Chief of Staff revealed the type of rocket that hit the children: "We know exactly where the rocket was launched from today. We examined here on the wall of the soccer field, the remains of the rocket, we know how to say, it is a Falaq-1 missile with a fifty-three kilogram warhead. This is a Hezbollah rocket. And whoever fires such a rocket into a built-up area wants to kill civilians, wants to kill children."
