A senior Iranian Quds Force official has claimed that Hezbollah possesses electromagnetic weapons capable of reaching any part of Israel, according to a report in the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida.

The official states that Iran has supplied Hezbollah with bombs and missiles equipped with electromagnetic warheads. These weapons can allegedly be launched from stationary sites or drones. The weapons transfer is claimed to be part of Hezbollah's preparation for a potential Israeli invasion of Lebanon.

"These bombs could destroy communication systems, including the electrical infrastructure, and halt the operation of all electronic systems that Israel relies on," the Iranian official was quoted as saying.

Electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weapons are designed to create a brief but intense electromagnetic field that can disrupt or destroy electronic equipment. They can be detonated with a delay, dropped from an aircraft, or launched as a warhead of a missile or rocket.

The report comes amid ongoing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah. The Iranian official claims this weapons transfer was carried out as part of Hezbollah's preparation for a potential comprehensive war in the North.
