The attack in Netiv Ha’asara: this morning, the fighter from the readiness unit who neutralized the terrorist at the entrance to Netiv Ha’asara community reconstructed the event for the first time: "The terrorist exited the vehicle with a knife and lunged at us, we fired shots towards him."
This morning, at 11:15, Adam Koreishi, the security officer of Netiv Ha’asara community in the Gaza envelope, arrived. The terrorist, a Canadian citizen, reached the entrance gate of the community, got out of his car, and shouted in English about killing civilians in Gaza. He was shot dead by members of the community's readiness unit.
Magen David Adom treated a 61-year-old woman for anxiety. There are no physical casualties.
The IDF stated that "a short time ago, a terrorist arrived at the Netiv Ha’asara gate, got out of his vehicle, and threatened members of the Netiv Ha’asara readiness unit with a knife. The fighters responded with gunfire and neutralized the terrorist, with no casualties to our forces. It is emphasized that the suspect is a foreign citizen who arrived from Israeli territory and not from the Gaza Strip."
