Israel has, until the deadly attack in Tel Aviv on Friday deftly dealt with Houthi attacks, as most of the UAVs and missiles launched at Israel were intercepted by Israel's air defense system even before they entered Israeli territory.

Then the Houthis managed to penetrate the air defense system with a UAV that killed Yevgeni Farber.

Mako News provided an overview of the Houthi's military strength, and the number of missiles and UAVs it possesses. According to the report, the Houthis are another branch of Iran. Similar to the terrorist organization Hamas before the war, according to estimates, the Houthis number about 40,000 soldiers, with a large part of the training provided to them by the Iranian army.

In addition to huge amounts of rockets and short- and medium-range missiles, which were used to fight against the Saudis, the Houthis have surface-to-surface missiles of the Tufan type with a range of 1,500-2,000 km, which can reach Israel.

From Iran, they also received "Ababil", "Shahad-136" and "Samad-3" attack UAVs, the latter being the type that was launched into Tel Aviv. Already in the past, mainly in the war against Saudi Arabia, the Houthis have resorted to attacks that combine ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and "roaming weapons" - as explosive suicide UAVs.
