Israel-Gaza War, Hostage Deal

Where is Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar hiding?

CIA Director William Burns believes he knows where the mastermind of October 7 is hiding, and that he is under increasing pressure to agree to a deal.

CIA Director said in a closed conference on Saturday that he believes Hamas leader and October 7 architect Yahya Sinwar is hiding in the tunnels beneath his birthplace in Khan Yunis, according to a source speaking with CNN.

According to Burns, Sinwar is not afraid of being assassinated but he is under increasing pressure from his own military commanders who are buckling under the strain of fighting the IDF, as well as increasing criticism over the suffering of Palestinians resulting from the war.

Sinwar is considered the key decision maker when it comes to Hamas agreeing to a hostage deal of any kind with Israel, so this report may point to possible progress in that direction in the near future.
