An indictment was filed today (Thursday) at the district court in Beer Sheva against Nachman Khoury, the driver who ran over the Israeli national team champion cyclist, Guy Timor, a month ago.

The driver, who had previous convictions, drove without a license and under the influence of drugs and then fled from the police. He is charged with negligent homicide, with a maximum penalty of life in prison.

Guy's parents told Kann News that "Guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but the same killer could have killed many others, children and people who were at the station. The guy looked back, flew forward and ran over everyone who was on the edge the road".
