Hamas, Israeli hostages

Liora Argamani, mother of released hostage Noa, has passed away

This morning, Ichilov hospital in Tel Aviv confirmed the tragic death of Noa Argamani's mother. She died after a long battle with brain cancer, and just 3 weeks after her daughter Noa was rescued from Hamas captivity after being hostage for 8 months.

Liora Argamani (61), the mother of Noa Argamani, who was recently rescued from captivity, passed away from advanced brain cancer.

The Tel Aviv hospital where Argamani received treatment stated that she "spent her last moments with her daughter Noa, who had come back from being held captive, and her immediate family."

Noa, who was saved after eight months of being held captive, stayed with her mother as she nears the end of her life; a member of the special operations team reveals that her initial question to them when being rescued was about her mother's wellbeing.

Icholov Hospital stated that the family is asking for privacy during this challenging time as they made an official announcement on her passing.

Before a successful IDF rescue operation last month, Argamani had made a public plea for her daughter's release along with three other hostages, citing her deteriorating health and desire to see Noa one last time.

Liora's final days were spent with her daughter, who was rescued by the IDF last month in Operation Arnon.
