Having left the national emergency government, Benny Gantz's State Camp party traded barbs with Prime Minister Netanyahu's Likud party over who was more "defeatist" in trying to stop short of the government's declared war aims.
Gantz's State Camp party stated that Netanyahu "watered down" the offensives in Rafah and Khan Yunis and feared letting the IDF maneuver in the Gaza Strip or launch an offensive in the north.
For their part, Netanyahu's Likud party said that Gantz refused to make hard decisions, surrendered to any international pressure, and was now declaring frequently that he was willing to end the war before all the hostages returned.
