Earlier today (Monday), a flyover was conducted to mark Memorial Day for Israel's fallen and terror victims. As part of the flyover, combat planes and helicopters flew over Mount Herzl and Har Hatayasim near Jerusalem.

As per tradition in flyovers in memory of the fallen, one craft left the formation to salute those who fell in defense of the State of Israel. This year, a flyover will also take place for the first time at the ceremonies for the victims of terrorism on Mount Herzl.
