Shifa Hospital operation comes to a close after two weeks of fighting

IDF forces departed Shifa Hospital during the night, concluding an operation that eliminated 200 terrorists.

The operation in Shifa is over: IDF forces exited Shifa Hospital last night (Monday) after two weeks of fighting. During the operation, over 500 terrorists were arrested, including senior Hamas and PIJ leaders.

During the operation some 200 terrorists were eliminated, including those released in the Shalit deal and responsible for many terrorist attacks.

Some 6000 civilians were evacuated from the hospital area towards humanitarian zones.

Defense Minister Gallant recentlty noted regarding operations in the Gaza Strip, including the Shifa Hospital operation, that “in recent times, we see a great deal of progress. Both with the terrorists in the field and also the senior and even very senior commanders.”
