Jerusalem Teacher Arrested in Jerusalem on Suspicion of Sexually Assaulting Female Students

Jerusalem district police officers arrested a teacher at an educational institution in East Jerusalem yesterday (Sunday) on suspicion of committing sexual offenses against female students, including rape. This morning he will be brought to the court for a hearing on the extension of his detention.

The investigation at the Shalom station in the Jerusalem district began following a report about a teacher in his 40s, a resident of northern Israel, who allegedly committed serious sexual offenses at an educational institution in East Jerusalem.

The police investigators gathered in the last two weeks, testimonies and evidence and the police investigation revealed that the teacher allegedly committed sexual offenses against two female students (16) several times, which also included the rape of one of them.
