The Galilee Medical Center (Poriya Hospital) reported that in the last few hours a significant slowdown and malfunctions in the functioning of the hospital's computer systems have been noticed, the system is undergoing a comprehensive inspection and taken out of use, it is not yet known whether this is a cyber attack or a local malfunction.
According to the announcement from the medical center, during the day (Sunday) a slowdown was felt in the functioning of the hospital's computer and communication networks, and many malfunctions and deficiencies were discovered in the internal computer networks. As a result the hospital switched to an operating procedure without computer systems. The hospital emphasizes that despite the loss of use of the computer networks for the time being, not a single service or system of the hospital has been shut down.
In addition, according to the hospital, the computer system has been turned off, and is undergoing a series of normality tests in order to identify the cause of the malfunctions and return it to use.
