The reserve officer who was injured in the afternoon (Sunday) in the stabbing attack in Rantis is a resident of the settlement of Ateret in Binyamin, father of 7 children. As published earlier, the terrorist stabbed the officer in the back at the gas station near the Palestinian village of Rantis in Samaria and wounded him moderately. Despite the injury, the officer strove for contact and chased after the terrorist who managed to escape until the IDF soldiers caught him. The wounded man was taken to the hospital.
