Two illegal residents broke into a restaurant in Tel Aviv, policemen who were called to the scene caught them when one of them was hiding in a refrigerator.

This morning (Sunday) the police received a report of a break-in at a business in Tel Aviv. According to the suspicion, in the early hours of the morning, suspects broke into the restaurant, but its owner spotted them using the business's camera and called the police.

Police officers from Tel Aviv's Lev station quickly arrived at the scene, searched and located the two suspects. One of them hid lying down in a refrigerator inside the restaurant's kitchen. The police arrested the two suspects, illegal residents aged 19 and 25 from Aqraba and started an investigation. Today, an extension of their detention will be requested at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court.

Earlier it was reported that Sdot police officers were called to Kfar Yona yesterday (Saturday) upon receiving a report of an attack on a man in the city. Upon arriving at the scene of the incident, the police arrested the suspect in the assault - a 37-year-old resident of the city.

An initial investigation of the incident revealed that an argument ensued between the suspect who asked to immerse in the mikvah and an employee of the place, which developed into a fight, in the end, the employee was attacked and needed medical treatment. Sdot police officers who arrived at the scene arrested the suspect in the assault and last night his detention was extended until today, when he will be brought to court again with a request to extend his detention.
