IDF Activity in Tulkarm: Shooting of Armed and Wanted Terrorists in the Clinic

In an operation to counter terrorism in the Nur Shams refugee camp, the Air Force attacked squads of terrorists who shot, threw explosives, and endangered the forces; During the searches, the fighters located a bomb in a clinic under the auspices of wanted terrorists hiding.

Tonight (Sunday) IDF reserve and Border Police fighters operated in a counter-terrorism operation in the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm under the command of the Menashe Brigade under the direction of the Shin Bet and the Military Intelligence Directorate.

During the activity, engineering tools proactively uncovered and neutralized charges under and on the sides of the roads intended to harm our forces. In addition, they arrested four wanted persons, and located and confiscated an M-16-type weapon and a shotgun. Also, during the operation, LOTAR fighters located a bomb inside a clinic in the refugee camp under the auspices of wanted persons hiding.

During the activity, terrorists shot and threw explosives and Molotov cocktails at the fighters who returned fire. Air Force aircraft attacked several armed terrorist squads who fired, dropped explosives and endangered the troops. As a result of the attacks, at least four terrorists were killed and more terrorists were injured.

The forces confiscated ready-to-use explosives found in the terrorists' area after the attack. So far, since the beginning of the war, about 2,400 wanted persons have been arrested throughout the Judea and Samaria, about 1,200 of whom are associated with the terrorist organization Hamas.
