Terror HQ Destroyed in Shejaiya

During an IDF raid in Shejaiya, a Hamas battalion command HQ was destroyed.

The IDF announced today (Friday) that forces of the 188th Brigade’s combat team took over and destroyed a battalion HQ belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization in Shejaiya. In the heart of the city of Khan Yunis, a tunnel shaft used by Hamas during the October 7 Massacre was located.

According to the IDF Spokesperson, forces of the 188th Brigade’s combat team, in coordination with armored, engineering, infantry, and air forces completed the takeover of the Shejaiya Battalion’s HQ. During the activity, the soldiers eliminated terrorists and destroyed a tunnel shaft used by a terrorist trying to throw a bomb on IDF forces.

Over the last day, combat teams of the Commando Brigade and 7th Brigade raided terrorist infrastructures in the heart of the city of Khan Yunis, locating tunnel shafts belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization. The raids destroyed weapons warehouses with the “iron sting” weapon.

In addition, the soldiers located a tunnel shaft containing motorcycles used by Hamas for the October 7 Massacre. An Air Force fighter plane struck a building serving as a hiding place for terrorists, and an aircraft eliminated three terrorists trying to attack IDF forces.
