Israel-Gaza War, Ceasefire, Intelligence Escort

Gallant: "Even During the Ceasefire, the Forces in Gaza will have Intelligence Escort"

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited the intelligence wing base and commented on the cease-fire in the war in Gaza that will begin tomorrow as part of the hostage deal: "Thanks to the capabilities of the intelligence, even during the cease-fire our forces in Gaza will have intelligence support that will enable their security."

Just before the ceasefire in the war in Gaza, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant today (Wednesday) visited one of the bases of the Intelligence Division, to which IDF and Shin Bet forces are bringing the assets captured in the Gaza Strip. In his words, Gallant praised the intelligence personnel for their action, which helps the fighting forces in the field and contributes to the achievement of the goals of the war.

"I have now finished a visit to the IDF's intelligence wing, which is aimed at assisting the fighting forces in the field. What I saw was unusually impressive," Gallant said at the end of the visit. "Every fighter, every force that moves in the field receives complete intelligence backing that comes from all the intelligence systems and at the end goes all the way to the company commander, to the intelligence officer, and sometimes to the fighter, and tells them how they can protect themselves, where the enemy is, and the result is an especially deadly result."

According to him, "The fighters know where to go and what to do - the enemy is in great distress as a result of the deadly fighting assisted by the IDF's intelligence wing together with the General Security Service. As a result of the high-quality, precise and professional action of the Intelligence Division and the Shin Bet, even in the coming days every force that will be in the field will have a complete intelligence escort from all sources that will allow it to operate with security."
