An unusual event took place today (Sunday) in Bnei Brak when a man vandalized a sign for the abductees, which was placed on a synagogue at the entrance to the city, apparently because of the pictures of the female abductees. The municipality said: "Crazy acts like these have no place in Bnei Brak, there will be zero tolerance." Bnei Brak police station investigators began the investigation and search for the suspect.
The municipality of Bnei Brak on the vandalism of the sign: "A little while ago, the strange vandalism was recorded on a sign that was placed on a synagogue at the entrance to the city and includes the pictures of the abductees and a pure prayer for their safety and release. The above sprayed some of the pictures in a strange and unusual way. The municipality of Bnei Brak instructed the municipal police teams to arrest the man immediately with the help of the traffic and control cameras in the area, and directed the police to do everything to locate the suspect. Crazy acts like this have no place in Bnei Brak and have no place among Jews. There will be zero tolerance for such actions."
A police spokesman: "A short time ago, the Israel Police received a report about a suspect defacing pictures of kidnapped women that were hanging on Chazon Ish Street in Bnei Brak. Police officers who arrived at the scene began searching for him. In the meantime, investigators from the Bnei Brak station began an investigation with the aim of locating the suspect."
Minister of Religion Malchieli commented on the incident when he said: "Spraying and blurring photos of the abducted women in Bnei Brak - a serious act by people who do not represent the ultra-orthodox public at all. The municipality of Bnei Brak did well to contact the police."
