Israel continues to be at war.
IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Daniel Hagari issued a statement to the press this morning (Friday) addressing all the fronts in which Israel is at war.
Hagari first addressed developments in the Gaza Strip, saying that “IDF forces are encircling Gaza from the air, from the land, from the sea. Soldiers are eliminating terrorists above and under the ground. In this night’s activity, our forces located many weapons, defensive means, maps, and communications means in a number of locations. Our forces took them over and eliminated the terrorists.”
“At the same time,” Hagari said, “we continue in the effort to shed light on the way Hamas cynically uses the population. Today, we revealed a recording of a party from Gaza’s Healthy Ministry who spoke with our forces and described how Hamas is holding onto fuel stores in Shifa and clearly using it for terrorism. It is stealing the fuel.”
“Iran is doing everything to divert the war from Gaza”
Hagari also addressed the northern front, saying “We are at high operational readiness. Yesterday we struck a number of Hezbollah squads in responds to broad fire towards Kiryat Shemonah and Tzfat. We will continue to act aggressively against any (threat) to the population in the State of Israel. We are at high readiness in the north to respond to any event which will take place today and in the days that follow.”
“Iran continues to carry out negative subversive activity and prods its proxy messengers in its name with weapons it sends them. As it did in Iraq and Yemen against the United States, so it does against the State of Israel to divert the war from Gaza.”
Another arena in which security force are active is Judea and Samaria. In his statement, Hagari said that “our forces operated tonight in Judea and Samaria. They eliminated terrorists from the air and land, continuing to expose terror activists.”
The Spokesperson also said that the families of 241 captives and 338 IDF fallen were informed.
